What is the size of the inverter?

If you are installing a Plico solar + battery system, you have two inverter size options. A 5 kW (or 5 kVA) inverter is suitable for homes with low to medium energy use. This inverter will be able to output around 5 kW to your home at any given time. If your energy use rarely exceeds this, then this is the inverter for you. We also have a 10 kWh inverter that is best for larger homes and businesses, especially those that require 3-phase power. 

Our battery only solutions include either a 3 kWh, 5 kWh or 10 kWh inverter. A battery inverter coverts DC electricity from your battery to AC electricity to use in your home. You will keep your existing solar inverter. 

Our solar only solutions include a 5 kWh inverter, which is the standard size inverter for residential solar systems.
